BUT I DO WANT TO RECITE THAT FOR ANYBODY WHO'S WATCHING ONLINE, MAYBE REWATCHING IT, BUT THE MISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT IS BEAUMONT CITY GOVERNMENT MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL MUNICIPAL SERVICES AND TO PLAN FOR BEAUMONT'S FUTURE IN A FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE MANNER. OPEN, TRANSPARENT AND ETHICAL MANNER THROUGH A HIGH PERFORMING TEAM CITY TEAM THAT PROVIDES OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EVOLVES OUR BEAUMONT COMMUNITY.
SO THAT'S A MISSION THAT YOU GUYS WORK WITH. THE CONSULTANT, YOU KNOW, STAFF WORKED WITH IT AS WELL. AND THAT'S WHAT WE PLAYED THE ROLE OF A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, IN A SENSE, TO WORK WITH THIS COALITION, COALITION OF MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONERS, AND THEY LISTED THINGS LIKE WEBSITE SUPPORT, MARKETING, THE SERVICES THAT THEY HAVE, FOSTERING A NETWORK OF SUPPORT, SUPPORTING THEM AT DIFFERENT EVENTS, AND LOOKING AT DIFFERENT LEGISLATION THAT WE CAN SUPPORT THEM IN MOVING FORWARD, AND ALSO GRANTS TO NONPROFITS OR IN A DIRE NEED FOR GRANT SUPPORT. AND SO WE TRY TO WORK WITH THEM ON THOSE KIND OF THINGS. I'M ALSO BECAME A PRACTITIONER OF TRUST-BASED RELATIONAL INTERVENTION. OVERALL, I'M GOING TO PULL BACK TO A 30,000 FOOT VIEW TO HIGHLIGHT ALL THAT'S TAKEN PLACE THIS PAST YEAR. SO AS USUAL, I'VE CREATED A VISUAL FOR YOU TO SEE ALL THE PROPERTIES BY[01:35:07]

IT VARIES BASED ON PARTICIPANTS, BUT WE DO REQUIRE EVENT INSURANCE FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT RENT OUR FACILITIES AND FOR THEM TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AS ADDITIONAL INSURED. I THINK THE BUDGET NEEDS TO GO TOWARDS THOSE SCHOOLS WHERE THOSE KIDS ARE AT FIRST. AND YES, COUNCIL MEMBERS, WE ALL WANT THEM AND ALL OUR WARDS, BUT WE NEED TO LOOK AT MAYBE SOME FORM OF WAY IF POSSIBLE, EVEN WITH A POSSIBLE BOND, IF WE CAN EXPEDITE, YOU KNOW, THAT WITH OUR KIDS, BECAUSE TRUTHFULLY, SAFETY MATTERS. AND THOSE KIDS WITHIN ONE MILE THEY WALK AND SOME OF THOSE PARENTS ARE AT WORK IN THE MORNING, AND THEY CAN'T CONTROL THEIR SITUATIONS WHERE THEY HAVE TO WORK TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILY.
