THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER TO AWARD A CONTRACT ALL CO LLC OF BEAUMONT FOR THE COLLIERS FAIRY PUMP STATION PROJECT IS VERY PUMP STATION PROJECT CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTING A NEW 45 MILLION GALLONS PER DAY PUMP STATION. IT INCLUDES A TUNNEL BETWEEN THE LAWSON'S PUMP STATION, THE COLLIERS, VERY PUMP STATION WENT WELL, A GENERATOR ELECTRICAL BUILDING IN VARIOUS SITE WORK. THE SIDE OF THE NEW PUMP STATION IS ABOVE THE HARVEY FLOOD LEVEL. ON MARCH 24TH 2022 4 BIDS WERE RECEIVED FOR FURNISHING ALL LABOR MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PROJECT. THE ENGINEERS ESTIMATE FOR THE CONTRACT IS WAS 25,535,000. AND THE BID RESPONSES ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR AGENDA ITEM. BASED ON A REVIEW OF THE BID AND THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS RECEIVE STAFF AGREES AND FREEZE AND NICKEL ZINC AND RECOMMENDS AWARDING THE PROJECT TO THE LOWEST BIDDER ALL CO LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF 25,088,250. A TOTAL OF 840 CALENDAR DAYS ARE ALLOCATED FOR SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT. FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE CAPITAL PLUMP PROGRAM.
