AS EDUCATED THE PUBLIC AND POLICYMAKERS AND PUBLIC HEALTH PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THE ISSUES IMPORTANT TO IMPROVING THE PUBLIC'S HEALTH.

AND WHEREAS BEAUMONT PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS ALWAYS WORKING FOR A SAFE POPULATION BY ASSISTING THE COMMUNITY WITH UNDERSTANDING HEALTH ISSUES PROTECTING PEOPLE FROM DISEASE.

PREPARING FOR PUBLIC EMERGENCIES , ASSURING A SAFE AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR PEOPLE PROMOTING HEALTHY LIVING AND HELPING PEOPLE GET THE SERVICES THAT THEY NEED. AND WHEREAS PUBLIC HEALTH WEEK PROVIDES PUBLIC HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AN OPPORTUNITY TO CELEBRATE THE MANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND TO HEIGHTEN PUBLIC AWARENESS, MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES AFFECTING OUR COMMUNITIES. AND IN THE ESTABLISHING TODAY'S DISEASE, SURVEILLANCE AND CONTROL SYSTEMS. AND, WHEREAS THIS YEAR'S THEME PUBLIC HEALTH IS WHERE YOU ARE CELEBRATES. WHAT WE KNOW IS TRUE. THE PLACES WHERE WE ARE PHYSICALLY MINERAL E AND SOCIETALLY AFFECT OUR HEALTH AND OUR LIVES. AS WE CELEBRATE THIS WEEK, LET US WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE OUR COMMUNITY TO HEALTHIER AND SAFER FOR ALL. WHAT'S BEING REPORTED TO THE BOMB ON HEALTH DEPARTMENT. 28,049 CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID. APRIL 1ST 2020 WAS THE FIRST DEATH. REPORTED TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT. AS OF YESTERDAY. 346 OF OUR CITIZENS HAVE DIED FROM COLD. DECEMBER THE 29TH 2020 WE ADMINISTERED THE FIRST COVID VACCINE. THE BOMB. ONE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. AS OF YESTERDAY. WE'VE ADMINISTERED VACCINE TO 79,000. 578 PEOPLE.

WHERE IS THE GOAL OF THE NATIONAL SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MIND IS TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT SEXUAL VIOLENCE. EDUCATE COMMUNITIES ON HOW TO PREVENT IT. AND MAKE THE PRESS. PREDATORS ACCOUNTABLE. FOR THEIR ACTIONS. WHEREAS IN TEXAS 6.3 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME FORM OF SEXUAL ASSAULT. IN THEIR LIFETIME, INCLUDING TWO AND FIVE WOMEN, AND ONE IN FIVE MEN. THE MAJORITY OF SEXUAL ASSAULT OCCURRED NEAR OR WITHIN THE VICTIM'S HOMES. COMMITTED BS RELATED TO THE VICTIM. WHEREAS THE THEME THIS YEAR FOR NATIONAL SEXUAL SOUTH AWARENESS MIND. THEN WE HAVE A 24 HOUR HOTLINE THAT HELPS INDIVIDUALS. THEY CAN CALL US ANY TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT AND YOU RECEIVE SERVICES. WE ALSO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO WRITE THE COMMUNITY TO COLLABORATE TO BE SURE THAT NO ONE FALLS THROUGH THE CRACKS AND LET'S SURVIVORS KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT ALONE. AND SO WHAT? THEIR HOUSING INITIATIVE HOUSING FIRST INITIATIVES DOES IS ESSENTIALLY THEY HAVE MULTIPLE MULTIPLE LAYERS, BUT THEY GO OUT AND SEE WHO'S INTERESTED. LIKE DO YOU WANT HOUSING DO YOU NEED AND WHAT SERVICES THEY NEED AND BASED ON THEIR STATISTICS ABOUT 85 TO 90% OF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN HAVING HOUSING ABOUT 2% TAKE THE SHELTER OPTION, MEANING THEY THEY'RE CHOOSING TO LIVE OFF THE GRID. THEY'RE CHOOSING. UM, TO NOT HAVE HOUSING AND ONCE THEY FOUND OUT WHO NEEDS HOUSING. THEY PUT THESE INDIVIDUALS IN HOUSING, AND THEN THEY PROVIDE SERVICES. SO THEY'RE PROVIDING HOUSING. UM UTILITIES, CLOTHING? UM, IF THEY NEED, UM MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AND MEDICAL TREATMENT. THEY PROVIDE THAT IF THEY NEED A JOB TRAINING AND THE ABILITY TO GET JOB TRAINING, THEY PROVIDE THAT.
